Academic Advising
As a first-year, first-semester student, you will be assigned a faculty adviser. Your adviser can help you make informed decisions when selecting courses and degree programs. Advisers act as referral agents, directing you to the appropriate person/department should you require information or services, beyond their areas of expertise.
The manager - Academic Advising co- ordinates faculty advising and is available to all students requiring academic information. He is located in the Office of the Registrar, AS277 and can be contacted at: dejackman @grenfell.mun.ca or toll-free at 1 866 381 7022.
Any student who is not assigned an academic adviser by the end of the first week of classes should contact the Office of the Registrar, AS 2 7 7 or call 709 637 6298.
