Paddiversary – October 19 and 20th, 2018

2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the Paddywagon Trombone Quartet – the longest continuously running chamber group at the School of Music!

Join us for these exciting events:

Paddiversary Extravaganza!
Friday, October 19 @ 7:30 pm, D.F. Cook Recital Hall

Hear Paddy alumni perform solo and ensemble works for trombone (and bass trombone) and piano! The concert features Stephen Ivany, Josh Penney, Hillary Simms, Aaron Good, and Erin Sullivan on trombone, Brian Lew on bass trombone, and Michael Lee and Kristina Szutor on piano.

Wednesday, October 17 - 3:00 p.m. - UC - Cafe Concert with the Vox Aeris Trio

Thursday, October 18 - 12:00 - 12:45 p.m. - Suncor Hall - Performance and Career Talk with the Vox Aeris Trio. The trio will perform and talk about forming their trio and some of the innovative and entrepreneurial projects they have done. All are welcome to attend, listen, and ask questions.

Friday, October 19 - 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. - Suncor Hall - Career Q&A with former Paddies and members of the Vox Aeris Trio. Topics include: doctoral programs, working in academia, working in the military, competitions, and more! This is a rare and wonderful opportunity to hear from folks who are recently out of school and who are building thriving and varied careers in music!

Friday, October 19 - 7:30 p.m. - Cook Hall - Paddiversary Extravaganza! Hear current and former Paddies in solo and chamber works for trombone. And get concert credit!!!

Saturday, October 20th 9:00am - 12:00pm -Paddiversary Workshops

Join us for a morning of clinics and workshops, and a mass trombone choir rehearsal.

Saturday, October 20 - 12:00 p.m. - Cook Hall - FREE lunchtime concert featuring former members of the Paddywagon Trombone Quartet in various configurations.
