Is your left side menu not displaying on your site?

If you have created a subsection and linked the pages within that subsection back to it, but the pages are not displaying on the left side of your screen, you may need to check that the folder is linked to the main navigation somehow. All folders, in order to display their left side menus, must be linked to the main navigation through the folder hierarchy.

If your entire left-side menu is not appearing on your site, try changing the order of the left-side menu. This process is described in detailed here.

If this process does not work, should check to see if a phantom main menu item has been created. Note that this can only be checked by local administrators.

In Site Builder, click on the Admin tab, and then select Menus from the left-side menu. Select the 'top level' of your site. Scroll down to the list of menu items, and look for a menu item that has no label and the link name is '/index.php'. See the image below for an example.

If this phantom main menu item has appeared, simply click the trash can icon next to it to delete it. Once you have done this, your left-hand menu should reappear as usual.
