PSDP: Professional Skills Development Program

The Spring 2019 is currently FULL. Please check this page in August to register for the Fall 2019 cohort.


The Professional Skills Development Program (PSDP) helps international students prepare for professional employment in Canada. In Spring 2019, the program will take place on Tuesdays from 2:00 to 3:00 pm from May 21st to June 25th.

PSDP is free and open to all international students.

This six-week-program covers the following topics:

  • Skills identification
  • Resume and cover letter
  • Job search and networking
  • Interview skills
  • Immigration advising

**In order to complete PSDP and receive the certificate of completion, students need to attend all sessions and complete all required activities.**

  • Attendance is mandatory. Participants will need to complete a variety of in-session and post-session activities (details will be provided in class).
  • As part of the program, students will need to complete at least one volunteer experience and attend at least one networking event.

Entrepreneurship Training Program (ETP)

This program is for full-time graduate students who are interested in starting a business and learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Over a 16-week period, a series of interactive presentations and workshops are delivered by award-winning entrepreneurs and faculty that give you the core skills you need to enter the exciting world of entrepreneurship.
