Ephemera

Ephemera, in an archival context, usually refers to transitory written and printed matter not intended to be retained or preserved. This collection contains materials created as part of various projects of Newfoundland and Labrador's Intangible Cultural Heritage Strategy. The Intangible Cultural Heritage Strategy was enacted to safeguard and sustain the intangible cultural heritage of Newfoundland and Labrador for present and future generations everywhere, as a vital part of the identities of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, and as a valuable collection of unique knowledge and customs. The ICH Ephemera collection contains posters, promotional materials, and the like, created as part of ongoing ICH work in the province.
