Youth homelessness is a growing problem throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. It's a complicated issue, often involving childhood trauma, mental health and addiction problems, poverty, disrupted education, and a lack of safe and affordable housing. In addition to the tremendous cost to youth and their families, there is also a significant cost to society in terms of lost productivity and increased costs in health care, justice and corrections, education and other areas. 

Join a discussion with a panel of experts to explore the issue of youth homelessness in Newfoundland and Labrador, what the consequences are of not addressing the issue today, what is being done in other places to end youth homelessness, and what we can do here. Admission is free. Everyone welcome.
