Established in 1968 by Dr. Herbert and Violetta Halpert, the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador's Folklore and Language Archive (MUNFLA) facilitates research on Newfoundland and Labrador culture and archives such material to make a permanent record for future generations that showcases the cultural diversity and richness of our province's heritage.
