Leadership goes beyond a title--it's about having the self-awareness, influence, and strategic mindset to drive meaningful impact. This immersive 3-day course is designed for leaders and high-potential employees seeking to deepen leadership identity, enhance team engagement and motivation, and refine strategic systems for greater organizational success.
Through a combination of interactive learning, research-based leadership principles, and real-world applications, participants will explore and define a personal leadership vision, incorporating both individual experiences and established theories. By developing a stronger knowledge of self, it becomes possible to determine a preferred leadership style, recognize associated strengths and considerations, and gain the confidence needed for effective decision-making. This clarity allows leaders to align actions with core values and long-term objectives.
Participants will also examine the evolution of motivation theory and apply key strategies to engage and inspire teams. Additionally, the fundamentals of coaching will be explored, both to maximize one-on-one executive coaching sessions and to enhance the ability to support colleagues. Feedback will be used to better understand participants' unique teams to help foster a culture of growth.
A key component of the course focuses on strategic leadership. Participants will reflect on the most critical aspects of a leadership role and assess whether current schedules align with these priorities. Strategic thinking skills will be developed to make intentional decisions about time and resource allocation, learning when to say 'no' to lower-impact tasks. By applying marginal gains theory, small but significant improvements in systems and processes will be identified to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Finally, change leadership principles will be explored, and strategies will be developed to implement sustainable improvements within organizations.
Executive Coaching
What sets this course apart is its integration of one-on-one executive coaching, ensuring that each participant can translate key concepts into personalized leadership growth. Participants will engage in three, one-hour coaching sessions. By the end of the course, attendees will have a clear leadership vision, an enhanced ability to inspire teams, and a refined approach to strategic decision-making--empowering participants to lead with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

Instructor(s)

Tim Salvadori Paleotti
Tim is a leadership and coaching enthusiast, passionate about helping people grow. Tim has extensive teaching and leadership experience within the UK education system and although he recently moved to Newfoundland with his wife and three children, he continues to work with over 40 leaders back in the UK through his executive coaching business, GrowCoach and as a Professional Partner for the Devon School Leadership Service. Alongside these roles, Tim coaches leaders on National Professional Qualification programs (NPQs) and he works with a Community Interest Company which supports young people, their families and schools to address emotionally based school absence.
In his early career, Tim was awarded Advanced Skills Teacher Status and his work supporting schools across the Borough of Wandsworth, London. The impact of Tim's work, coaching and mentoring others, was recognised with a Fellowship from the College of Teaching. Following this, Tim moved into leadership and as a Headteacher for eight years, he led significant school improvement which led to a role as an Education Adviser with Devon Local Authority, UK. During this time, Tim conducted school evaluations across the Local Authority and he supported leadership and management teams to improve their effectiveness.
Many years ago, Tim completed a BSc in Animal Physiology (University of Leicester) and following this a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Roehamption Institute). Other certifications he has acquired include a National Professional Qualification in Headship (NPQH), a Certificate in Evidence Informed Practice (Chartered College of Teaching) and a Certificate in Effective Coaching and Mentoring Level 5 from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).
