Select north campus building closures for August 23 weekend
Please be advised Facilities Management has scheduled emergency replacement of three water main valves on the St. John’s Campus starting Friday, Aug. 23. To facilitate the valve replacements, the following north campus buildings will be closed to all occupants and users at the times listed below:
Friday, Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. to Sunday, Aug. 25 at 8 a.m.
• Business Building
• Core Science Facility
• Earth Science Building
• Engineering Building
• National Research Council
• St. John’s College
• University Centre
Occupants and users should make arrangements to shut down all equipment and experiments requiring water supply during the dates and times listed.
Friday, Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. to Sunday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.

Occupants and users should make arrangements to shut down all equipment and experiments requiring water and/or electrical supply during the dates and times listed.
Sections of Morrissey Drive and Kerwin Place will be reduced to a single lane on Thursday, Aug. 22 and continue until construction work is complete (see locations here). Temporary signage, flag persons and/or signal lights will be in place when necessary.
