COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics
In anticipation for the return to on-campus instruction in the fall 2021 semester, Memorial University is requiring all students, faculty, and staff members to get vaccinated.

Memorial University also offers regular free and convenient COVID-19 vaccination clinics for students, faculty, staff and retirees to receive their first or second dose. See below for information and instructions on booking a vaccine appointment on campus.
For all COVID-19 vaccination clinics on campus:
- If you have one, please bring your MCP or health card with you to your appointment,
- Please wear a short-sleeve shirt to your appointment,
- If you are booking a second dose:
- Have the date of your first dose handy when calling to book,
- Ensure that there will be at least 28 days between your first and second doses.
Memorial vaccination clinics
Both clinics are offering first and second doses of the Moderna vaccine.
St. John's campus:
Weekly clinic - no appointment required
Eastern Health and the Student Wellness and Counselling Centre have teamed up to offer weekly COVID-19 vaccine clinics starting Sept. 1, from noon-6 p.m., and continuing every Wednesday for the next 5 weeks at The Landing on the 3rd floor of the University Centre – no appointments required! Bring your MCP card if you have one, (it is okay if you don’t) and your immunization record if you need a second dose.
Student Wellness and Counselling Centre - by appointment
Memorial’s Student Wellness and Counselling Centre is offering free COVID-19 vaccinations to Memorial students, faculty, staff, retirees and their families. These clinics are by appointment only, and take place in the SWCC, on the fifth-floor of the University Centre. To book an appointment, contact the SWCC at (709) 864-8500.
