Research Statement
My research uses methods in archaeoentomology to examine relationships between people and the environments in which they lived. I will be analyzing beetle (Coleoptera) remains within peat samples near Inuit sites in Labrador to reconstruct past environmental conditions. I will be looking at how people interact with and influence the landscapes they occupy over time.
