Cassidy Little – Keynote Speaker
About Cassidy Little
A Newfoundlander, Cassidy served with 42 Commando Royal Marines, and on his second tour in Afghanistan in 2011, he lost a leg in an IED blast that killed three of his fellow soldiers. As a UK citizen, he carried the Olympic torch through Peterborough, has been the face of the British Legion Poppy Appeal and has appeared in Holby City, Coronation Street and People’s Strictly for Comic Relief. Cassidy’s theatre credits include the lead role in The Two Worlds of Charlie F alongside Ray Winstone and he will appear with Ralph Fiennes in The King’s Man, due for release in February.
Cassidy tells the story of this event and his subsequent journey in his brilliant TED talk from 2017.
