Montevecchi to receive lifetime award for natural history contributions

Nature Newfoundland and Labrador will hold an event to celebrate Dr. Bill Montevecchi’s lifetime contributions to the well being of the natural history of this province.

The Psychology professor will receive the Tuck-Walters Award, the highest award bestowed by the organization. It is presented to individuals who have made outstanding and enduring contributions toward the advancement of the appreciation and protection of the natural history o f Newfoundland and Labrador.

The event will be held Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m. on the St. John’s Campus of Memorial University, in room SN-2098.
