Annual summer BBQ says thank you to Memorial employees
Memorial University faculty, staff, and retirees are invited to the annual campus-wide BBQ Thursday, Aug. 23th from 3–6 p.m. in the Paton College courtyard and main dining hall. Admission is a non-perishable food item, or monetary donation for the campus food bank.
Hot dogs, hamburgers, mussels, baloney and beverages are on the menu, along with door prizes, a reduced cash bar, music and entertainment, and give-aways.
Emcee Kenny Hammond will make you feel welcome; magician Mark Bailey has a few tricks up his sleeve to show you, and juggler James Burke will keep things up in the air. So be sure to attend. It’s a great way to catch up with friends and colleagues, and celebrate being part of the Memorial family!
