This electronic edition of The Church - Nature and Organization has been transcribed from the revised edition of 1975.

      Pagination has been represented by placing the page number within square brackets, following the last complete word on the page. The range of pages in each part is also indicated at the end of the document.

      Punctuation, capitalization, and spelling have been regularized: (1) transliterated Greek words have been italicized in all occurrences; (2) the names of Bible books have been given in full form in all instances; (3) articles in titles have been set in lower-case letters and significant words in upper-case letters. In one instance, a Scripture reference has been given within square brackets for a quotation; in another, the number "17" has been spelled out.

      Addenda and corrigenda are earnestly solicited.
