In my group, we investigate electronic, optical and charge transport properties of organic semiconductors using density functional theory. In our studies, we consider molecular systems consisting of conjugated polymers and oligomers, fullerenes, and nanotubes. Materials made of organic polymers or oligomers, or combinations of polymers and fullerenes, or combinations of oligomers and nanotubes have many industrial applications, for example, they have been used in devices such as light-emitting diodes, solar cells, transistors, integrated circuits, sensors, and batteries.
