As part of regular and ongoing maintenance on campus, there is a planned power outage at the Health Sciences Centre on Sat., October 13.

Lighting, receptables and ventilation will not be in operation at the School of Nursing during the day, from about 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.This power outage is required as part of the ongoing electrical upgrade project throughout the Health Sciences Centre.

This outage will not impact the Janeway Children's Hospital nor the Cancer Centre.

Everyone is expected to review their place of work in advance to determine if temporary emergency power is required (i.e. freezers, refrigerators, etc).  Please power down all equipment that will not be used on Saturday.  If you do require power, plug into the emergency (Red) outlets.  Anyone requiring temporary power is expected to contact the electrical department of Infrastructure Support at 6735 (ask for Keith Moore) or page Keith at 570-9898.

During the outage, if you lose power and it is a must have, please call 6735 or page 570-9898 and the electricians will assist you.
