Web Content Services

Web Content Services (WCS) helps the Memorial University community create and maintain websites on mun.ca using Terminalfour (T4), Memorial’s content management system.

We offer advice on web best practices, training and user support, as well as access to tools and resources to help build and maintain Memorial’s websites and sub-sites using our content management system (CMS), TerminalFour (T4).

Choose an option below to request training, website services, technical support or a change to T4 access.

For all requests received, the WCS team will follow up within five business days, or sooner, to discuss your request and help you get started.

T4 Training

T4 training is for Memorial employees and students who will create or update content on a mun.ca website. Training is required before access to T4 is provided.

The training you need depends on your role:

  • Contributors can create and edit content but must submit their changes to a moderator for approval. Students are given contributor access.
  • Moderators can create and edit content, review changes submitted by contributors, and approve content for publication. This role is intended for employees responsible for managing a website or section. Each website can have a maximum of three moderators.

Both training options are self-paced and can be completed over multiple sessions. Participants complete practical exercises on a test page in a training environment. Training uses instructions and resources from the T4 User Guide and covers the tasks associated with each role, such as editing content, creating pages, managing menus, and submitting or approving changes.

Permission from the appropriate unit head is required before training and T4 access can be provided. A MUN Login is required to access the request form.

Web Services and Support

Request help if you are planning a new website, refreshing an existing website or experiencing an issue with T4. Web Content Services can provide advice, recommend next steps and connect you with the appropriate support.

T4 Access

T4 access allows trained users to manage content for specific websites or sections on mun.ca. Users must complete the required T4 training before they can be added to a website.

Use this form to:

  • add a trained user to a website;
  • remove a user who no longer requires access; or
  • update access when a user moves to another unit or website.

The form must be completed by the website’s primary moderator or the unit head.

To review the list of moderators and contributors who currently have access to your website, or if you have questions about the form, contact the Web Content Advisor.
