Research Description
I am interested in marine protected area (MPA) modeling and in identifying priority areas for conservation in marine ecosystems under the premise of ecosystem based management (EBM). I would like to explore how some conservation approaches in the terrestrial ecosystems can be modified and tailored to marine environment particularly on issues of scale and connectivity. My project proposal is currently in progress and update will be provided as soon as we develop my research framework.
