--> Thesis Option
Candidates for the degree of MGS (thesis option) will be required to complete a minimum of 15 credit hours in addition to researching and writing a master's thesis. The student works with supervisors to conceive, shape and develop a paper that will provide an in-depth scholarly examination of a subject relevant to the discipline of gender studies.
The completed thesis, approved by the student's supervisors will be submitted for evaluation by two examiners. All theses must meet the guidelines outlined, General Regulations, Theses and Reports, School of Graduate Studies.
Completion of a thesis is recommended for students considering further graduate studies.
