“Gender Studies at MUN offers the opportunity to take up different sites and practices in feminist theorizing, and to see women's studies as complexly intertwined with a variety of related sites of struggle - around race, class, sexuality, ability, nation, region. I hope for opportunities where students and instructors can find spaces in which to recognize multiple stories and meanings, identites and subjectivities, through the work we do together.”
