Memorial University Community Garden workshop lays groundwork for a bumper crop
All are welcome to attend Preparing Your Garden Plot, a workshop taking place at the Memorial University Community Garden, located behind Queen’s College at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29.
Welcome to the Memorial University Community Garden!
Located in the greenspace behind Queen's College at Memorial's St. John's campus, the community garden is a place for the Memorial community to grow food, work together and enjoy the outdoors.
Please note that all available garden plots for the 2012 season have been allocated and successful individuals have been notified. Thank you to all those who applied. For those who were not successful in this year's lottery, we encourage you to try again next year.
Garden orientation sessions are scheduled for April 18 and April 23, 2012. These are for new and returning members and at least one member listed on the garden agreement must attend one session. We've also scheduled some great workshops and those are happening in May and July - with more to be posted soon. Find out more by visiting the Garden Workshops section of this site.
