The Faculty of Arts (Social Sciences and Humanities) is committed to its researchers and is actively engaged in their scholarly development. Creating opportunities for external funding and professional growth, while recognizing sustained research and creative activity, are at the core of our activities.
As a result, the Faculty of Arts (Social Sciences and Humanities) sponsors research workshops throughout the year designed to encourage and facilitate professional development.
We are proud of our four Canada Research Chairs, in aboriginal studies, archaeology, geography, and linguistics.
