According to the recent Health Effects Institute report, diesel engine exhaust is classified as carcinogenic based on sufficient evidence that exposure is associated with an increased risk for lung cancer (IARC 2012, HEI 2015). Join Kevin Hedges to discuss: levels of exposure and risk of lung cancer; measuring exhaust and exposure; assessing data and acceptable exposures; and, strategies to lower emissions and exposure.
