Dr. Chantel Zern, PGY3

Chantel completed her clinical clerkships throughout Arizona and Chicago. She became passionate about pathology after working as a pathologist assistant in Arizona after obtaining her medical degree. She is from Calgary, Alberta and enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and traveling. Her areas of interest in pathology include dermatopathology and neuropathology.

Dr. Jeremy O’Brien, PGY3

Jeremy completed medical school at Memorial University. Originally from Labrador, he hopes to continue working in Newfoundland after residency. He enjoys salmon fishing and traveling.

Dr. Kylie Everard, PGY4

Kylie is a graduate of Memorial University. She plans to pursue a fellowship in whichever area of pathology she finds her passion for during residency. Outside of medicine, Kylie enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her dog.

Dr. Simrin Sennik, PGY5

Simrin completed her medical degree in Dublin at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She is from Thornhill, Ontario and absolutely loves Newfoundland.  She enjoys the outdoors, water sports, and baking. Her area of interest includes dermatopathology, in which she hopes to pursue a fellowship in.

Dr. Alexandra States, PGY5

Alex completed medical school at Memorial University. Her areas of interest include gastrointestinal and gynecological pathology. She hopes to pursue a fellowship upon completion of the program. Alex also enjoys traveling, cooking, and running.
