Living in Memorial's student dormitories is your chance to form lifelong friendships while embarking on a new academic adventure. Whether you are away from home for the first time, or a returning resident, you will find that living in residence provides a safe environment that promotes academic success and provides an abundance of social, recreational, and educational learning opportunities. Living on campus is a true learning experience! You will also find personal support is always available through our residence assistants, academic assistants and many other staff members who are there to help in any situation.
Accommodations are available in Paton College, Macpherson College or Burton's Pond Apartments.
Paton College, consisting of our nine "residence hall" style buildings, is home to almost 900 students.
In these residences you’ll find television and computer rooms, study spaces, laundry facilities, in-room cable tv access, wired and wireless Internet access and, best of all, access to the MUNnel indoor tunnel system.

Macpherson College, our newest residence complex, consists of two wings of suite style rooms – two single bedrooms and shared washroom accommodations – for 250 residents each.
The wings that form Macpherson College are:
- Cluett Hall
- Shiwak Hall (pronounced [SHY-WOCK])
Life in the new residence provides a higher level of independence and privacy than the residence halls, while still providing substantial guidance and support.

Burton’s Pond Apartments
The Burton's Pond Apartments, home to almost 500 students, consists of four buildings/courts and offer a more independent, apartment-style setting.
Burton's Pond Apartments are available to students beyond their first year of study.

- Guy Court

Our 'All Day Dining' provides continuous food service throughout the day in the Main Dining Hall. This ensures that you will be able to get a full meal, light snack, or a cup of coffee whenever you feel the need.
All meal plans include 'Flex dollars' as a complement to our meal plans. You can use Flex dollars at any of the Aramark Canada operated cafés across campus.
