Memorial is a leader in cooperative education programs. Several of our programs offer you the opportunity to pursue paid, work placements as part of the degree program. Beyond that, we have part-time job programs designed specifically to fit between your busy academic schedule. Learn more about working as a student at Memorial.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT GROUPS
With more than 1,400 international students, you are bound to find a student group with similar backgrounds or interests to your own. There are faith-based groups, national groups, activities-based groups and many more. And, if there is not a group there that interests you – you can always start your own.

SAFETY
We are all concerned about safety. Fortunately, Newfoundland boasts one of the lowest crime rates in North America. But to make you feel extra safe and secure we have our own patrol officers who keep an eye on things morning, noon and night, plus WalkSafe and SafeDrive programs run by our students’ union, MUNSU. On top of that, we have a series of tunnels and skywalks (the MUNnels) that connect many of our buildings keeping you safe (and dry) through all kinds of weather.
