Situated on the edge of the North Atlantic, the province has a rich tradition of exploration and discovery.

Memorial has campuses on the east and west coasts of the island in the cities of St. John’s and Corner Brook, offering visitors a glimpse of our geographical wonders and rich heritage.

You can reach Memorial’s campuses by car, bus, plane and ferry.

By Air

The St. John’s International Airport is only minutes away from campus. Air Canada, WestJet, Porter, and United/Continental Airlines serve the airport with connections available from major centres in Canada and the United States. The St. John’s International Airport code is YYT. City Wide Taxi operates at the airport, and can get you to our campus for around $25.


By Land & Sea

Marine Atlantic operates a year-round ferry service between North Sydney, Nova Scotia and Channel-Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. The Trans-Canada Highway connects Channel-Port aux Basques and St. John's over a distance of 905 kilometres.

During the summer Marine Atlantic offers a ferry service between North Sydney and Argentia, Newfoundland.
