GREEN TIP OF THE WEEK
The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada studies indicate that there are 14 billion cups of coffee consumed every year in Canada.* Currently, take out coffee cups are not recyclable in Newfoundland and Labrador as they are usually wax-lined or made of styrofoam.

Lug your own mug to any of the Chartwell's or Roaster's locations in the Arts, Science, Engineering and Education buildings or the new Jumping Bean location in the Queen Elizabeth II Library and recieve an environmental discount.
All Chartwells locations on campus serve Fair Trade certified coffee. You can find the Fair Trade coffee in the canisters marked with the green label or you can ask for it at the counter.
