EWB - Translating Actions to ImpactThe goal of the event was to provide an opportunity for members of the MUN Chapter to meet and share ideas and best practices with members of other chapters across . It was also designed to allow members to gain skills and knowledge from leaders within and outside the organization. It is also a great opportunity for members to become inspired and to bring that inspiration back to the chapter.
Several influential keynote speakers attended this event and shared valuable insight on international development, such speakers included Ralph Nader, Bob Rae, and Ian Smilie.
There was also a massive outreach event during which over 600 members of EWB took to the streets of Montreal to spread information on tied aid and collected signatures from concerned citizens. Every individual who attended the conference came away with a deeper understanding of the organization and their role in it.
