The HIV/AIDS program in Kpando, offered an opportunity to complete advocacy and clinical work with patients, children, families and the local community. Through volunteer work, students became actively involved with the HIV/AIDS health care issue in a developing country. Highlights of the event include visiting patients, caring for children, and attending the first annual Tafi HIV/AIDS football gala which promoted safer sex and the reduction of HIV transmission.
