Event: Skin and Wound Care Conference
Date: Oct 4-5, 2010
This conference brought together students, nurses, doctors, and other health care providers. The focus of the event was on the identification, treatment, medical management and interdisciplinary approach of skin and wound care. The conference broadened participant knowledge of advancements in the field and how to improve treatment. Speakers at the conference provided a variety of perspectives of skin and wound care, including treatment in Afghanistan, diagnosing and treating wound infections, and the challenges faced by being a burn survivor.
