The goal of the event was to provide access to national and global networks for young Canadians to acquire the international development, trade and cross-cultural experience to become the next best leaders of Canada. The conference provided an opportunity to meet with government, business, education and career development leaders, as well as, building mentorship relationships with Canadian leaders. It also allowed to further develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Attending this conference allowed Laura to be eligible to apply for a spot on the Junior Team Canada Mission to the Americas and Asia this summer.
