The purpose of this event was to bring students from across the Atlantic Provinces together to discuss their research in Chemistry. Through oral presentations and poster presentations, students were able to present research they participated in either through summer research or their honors projects. It gives students the opportunity to gain knowledge about other research possibilities as well as show what they have learned in their home university. Some of the highlights from the conference include four MUN students who won an award for their presentations, as well as having the opportunity to meet with students from other provinces that are completing the same degree. It allows to create contacts for potential future studies in other areas of the country.
