Testimonials
The purpose of this event was to meet with fellow engineering
students from across the country to discuss similarities and
differences in issues such as academics, community service, social
events etc. Some highlights from the event were the debate during
plenary, opening and closing banquets, all prestigious speakers,
updated sessions such a LGBT in schools, and a session on the
National Conference on Women in Engineering. Most schools present
at congress are from Ontario and Western Canada. It is very
important to ensure a sizeable contingency from Atlantic Canada is
also present. It is very fulfilling to debate and participate in
sessions where there are members from schools all across Canada and
to prove that Newfoundland and MUN have very important things to
say. Also, as the only representative from Newfoundland, it is very
beneficial to learn from all other schools about how they run and
relate to their faculties.
