APICS Mathmatics Conference 2008This event was a problem solving event where research, done with grants from NSERC, were presented. Much of the research had interesting results, and a team from Memorial won first place. Students were able to meet fellow students and faculty from the Atlantic region who were working in similar fields. The conference was able to provide an opportunity for students to become more aware of the types of mathematics currently being studied by other students and academics. It also allowed them to present their research and receive feedback on it.
