The Business Day 2008 conference was held on March 7, 2008 at the Fairmount Hotel. The purpose was to bring together students and business people for the purpose of networking and getting a chance to hear stories from accomplished business people. Some of the speakers at the conference were Mr. Wade Dawe, of Linear Gold Corportation, Mr. Brad White of Salida Capital Inc. and Mr. Noel O’Dea of Target Marketing. These speakers provided their experience stories, motivational techniques and inspiration to be taken away from the conference and be used in every day business context.
