Join SPE

PROCEDURE:

To join the SPE local section, you must first join the international section. For more information about the international section, follow procedure shown below. Registration is free. After joining the international section, you are very welcome to register with the local section. Please follow the registration procedure below:

Go to http://www.spe.org/students/
Click on "JOIN AS A STUDENT" on the left side of the page
Click "JOIN NOW"
Click "Qualify" under first time registering on spe.org site - Start registeration.
Under "Education" section, ensure that page is loaded correctly. If you do not see the "Update" button at the bottom of the page, refresh until it appears.
Choose the "Yes, I need financial assistance to pay my SPE student membership dues" option.
Finish your registration. You will be assigned a SPE student number at the end.
Register with the student chapter (SSPE) by sending an e-mail to sspe@mun.ca with your full name, SPE student number and year of graduation.

In order to renew your membership for upcoming year, please go to this page http://www.spe.org/join/renew.php#redirected_from=/membership/renew/ and follow these steps:

- Choose "Renew online with a credit card" option (you will not need credit card and you won't be charged for student membership)

- Log in using your email and password

- Choose "2012 Unpaid/Pay Online"

- Click on "Student Renew Membership "

- Click "Renew now"

- Submit the same form that was used to get initial membership (All information will be pre-filled. You just need to click submit, update etc.)

- Do not forget to choose option "Yes, I need financial assistance to pay my SPE student membership dues"

You will receive confirmation e-mail that your student membership has been renewed. Good luck!
