BSW as a Second Degree
BSW as a Second Degree program
Please note that the deadline for application for admission to this program is March 1st. Please be advised that all admissions criteria must be met by the end of the winter semester in which you submit your application.
The 60 credit hour program is intended for candidates who:
- have been awarded a Bachelor’s Degree, or have been approved (prior to program start-up) for the award of a Bachelor’s Degree from a university recognized by Memorial;
- have completed the required courses;
- meet the academic performance requirements; and
- have a minimum of 300 hours of verified work/volunteer/community involvement experience.
The BSW as a second degree program is completed over four (4) consecutive semesters, beginning in the winter semester, on the St. John's campus.
The first two (2) semesters include course work only, while the remaining two (2) semesters include field practca and course work.
