A newly published book, co-edited by the School of Social Work's associate professor Dr. Brenda LeFrançois, offers a provocative argument against conventional study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of "mental illness."

As part of the university’s infrastructure plan, work has been tendered to renovate and update the School of Social Work at St. John’s College. The School of Social Work has moved to facilitate this renovation, primarily to Coughlan College, and also to Tiffany Court.

Online Field Instructor Course
The Field Education Team at the School of Social Work is pleased to announce that the new field instructor course was made available online as of February 2013. Social Work at Tiffany Court
As part of the growth at Memorial and at the School of Social Work, in the fall of 2012 we joined Nursing, Pharmacy, and Psychology at Memorial’s Tiffany Court location in the east end of St. John’s.
Our classrooms at Tiffany Court welcomed the first students in Sept. 2012 and will now be welcoming even more of our students while renovations are taking place at St. John's College.
Our Field Education Team is now located at Tiffany Court. There are also some faculty offices there, as well as Wi-Fi, a photocopier, and free parking.
