Welcome

The School of Graduate Studies, Student Life, and the Graduate Students' Union invite you to the annual Graduate Orientation Welcome Event, on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, for all new graduate students at Memorial University (those students admitted to graduate programs for the current year, from Winter to Fall semesters).

The Welcome Event will include; a greeting from Dr. Gary Kachanoski, President of Memorial University, a welcome from Dr. Cecilia Reynolds, Deputy Provost (Students) and Associate Vice-President (Academic) Undergraduate Studies, a keynote address from Dr. Aimée Surprenant, the Dean of Graduate Studies, information sessions, booth presentations, free food and giveaways!

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided throughout the morning. A BBQ will follow the Welcome Event, at Bitters Pub, hosted by the GSU and TAUMUN.

A FREE Apple iPad will be drawn for during the Graduate Orientation Welcome Event 2017.

Students will have to be registered for the event and be present during the draw to be eligible.

The Graduate Orientation Welcome Event 2017 will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation, from 8:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. RSVP for the Graduate Orientation Welcome Event 2017 by selecting "Going" on our Facebook event's page. If you do not have Facebook, please RSVP via sgsassistant@mun.ca.
