The Graduate Students' Union (GSU) will be hosting GradFest 2014 from Monday, September 1 to Sunday, September 7.

GradFest consists of fun and exciting events and activities for graduate students at Memorial.

Whether you're a current student or a new student, GradFest is an excellent opportunity to meet your GSU staff, as well as lots of other graduate students, in fun social settings.

Opening Day Concert

Get the semester started by coming out to the Graduate Orientation opening day concert. There will be great music, food and drinks.

GSU & TAUMUN BackYard BBQ

After the Graduate Orientation Welcome Event, head on over to Bitters Pub where the GSU staff will be cooking up great food on the BBQ.

St. John's Haunted Hike

What better way to learn about the history of St. John's than taking a haunted hike at night. The hike will consist of a guided tour of the city of St. John's.

Brass Lunch

The Brass Lunch is an annual event hosted by the GSU that provides
new and returning students witht the opportunity to meet and mingle with the faculty and staff within the university.

The GSU is well-known for hosting their most popular Thursday Night Trivia throughout the year. Join them for the first official trivia night.

Public House Meander

One of the most popular GradFest events! You're sure to have a great time visitng the infamous George Street, filled with numerous bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants in downtown St. John's.

Cape Spear Hike & Snack

Visit the lighthouse and walk the beautiful trails of Cape Spear, the most easternmost point in Canada.

Traditional Newfoundland Screech-In

Join in the fun and become an honorary Newfoundlander by being screeched in at one of the bars on George Street. A screech-in is a fun event by which non-Newfoundlanders become official Newfoundlanders, by introducinng themselves and reciting a short Newfoundland citation. It is a popular and highly anticipated tradition among visitors to the province.

East Coast Trail Hike
