Canadian Foundation for Geotechnique National Graduate Scholarship

The scholarship, which is valued at $5,000, will be awarded to a Canadian or permanent resident, entering or registered in a Canadian university Masters or PhD program that is directly related to an identified field of geotechnique, is eligible. Nominees must have a high academic standing and be active, or show leadership in the geotechnical community. Steve Bonk Scholarship - Canadian Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA)

This scholarship, valued at $500, is intended to provide educational assistance to those embarking on careers associated with municipal water supply or wastewater. Applicants shall be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and be a resident of a current CWWA municipal member or attend college or university in a municipality or that is itself a CWWA member. The applicant must have completed successfully one year or post secondary education and be registered as a full-time student in further studies and intend to pursue a career related to the municipal or wastewater industry. Canadian Sanitation Supply Association Scholarship Foundation (CSSA)

The Canada Council for the Arts Program - Killam Prizes

The Killam prizes of the Canada Council for the Arts are intended to support scholarships of exceptional ability engaged in research projects of broad significance and widespread interest. The Killam prizes are awarded annually to distinguished Canadian scholars in the fields of social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, health sciences, and engineering. Normally one prize is awarded each year in each of the five fields and are intended to honor eminent scholars activity engaged in research in Canada in universities, hospitals, research or scientific institutes or other equivalent or similar institutions. The Norm Bromberger Research Bursary (University of Saskatchewan)

This bursary has been established in recognition of the outstanding contributions made by Norm Bromberger to the development of credit unions and co-operatives in Saskatchewan and across Canada. The Norm Bromberger Research Bursary, value at $2,000, is open to candidates who have been unable to secure sponsorship for their study from the co-operative or credit union with which they are associated. This bursary is to encourage research in the area of co-operatives and credit unions. Preference will be given, but not limited, to Saskatchewan candidates. Australia Awards - Endeavour Research Fellowship and Postgraduate Awards

The award enables you to undertake comparative or collaborative research in Australia as part of your current postgraduate or postdoctoral research program. It also assists recipients to build international professional links and institutional collaborations. The endeavour research fellowships provide up to AUS$23,500 for North American postgraduate research students and postdoctoral researchers to undertake 4-6 months of reserach in Australia. They also offer postgraduate awards up to AUS$118,500 for Masters and AUS$228,500 for PhD high achieving North American students to undertake a postgraduate qualification by course work or research in any field of study in Australia. Canadian Studies Doctoral Research Fellowship

The Canadian Studies Doctoral Research Fellowship enables students enrolled in a doctoral program at an Indian university to conduct research in Canada. This program is designed to assist full-time graduate students, enrolled in a doctoral program at a degree-granting institution of higher education, whose dissertations are related in substantial part to Canada, to undertake doctoral research in Canada. Eligibility is restricted to applicants who are citizens or permanent residents of India, enrolled in a doctoral program, proficient in either English or French and the research must be on Canadian topics that fall within the areas of the social sciences and humanities.
