Canadian Blood Services Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Applications are now being accepted by the Canadian Blood Services for the postdoctoral fellowship program. The Canadian Blood Services has active research programs within transfusion science emphasizing platelets, stem cells, plasma proteins, infectious disease, epidemiology and clinical transfusion practice. The purpose of this program is to foster careers related to transfusion science in Canada. APOGEE-Net/CanGène Test Network MSc/PhD Training Fellowships

The APOGEE-Net/CanGène Test Network is offering training fellowships to both master's and doctoral students. To reinforce transdisciplinary research capacity and foster cross-fertilization, the proposed project of the student must integrate different research domains, for example clinical research and health economy, to generate an added value. In addition fellowship recipients must be supervised by one or two members of the network. Hugh Kelly Fellowship (Rhodes University)

This fellowship is available to senior scientists (with at least a PhD qualification) who will devote themselves to advanced work in any of the following Science Departments of Rhodes. The areas are Biochemistry and Microbiology, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geography, Geology, Ichthyology and Fisheries Science, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics (Pure and Applied), Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics and Electronics, Zoology and Entomology. Hugh le May Fellowship (Rhodes University)

This fellowship is available in alternate years to senior scholars of standing with extensive research publications to their credit (received a PhD more than 5 years at time of application) who wish to devote themselves to advanced work (post-doctoral) in any of the following subjects: Philosophy, Classics, Ancient, Medieval or Modern History, Classical, Biblical, Medieval or Modern Languages, Political Theory, Lay. Where there is no applicant of sufficient merit in any of the above subjects, the Fellowship may be awarded to an applicant in some other subject falling within the Faculty of Humanities.
