“My name is Gabrielle Burke and I’ll begin a Bachelor of Science in the fall. I plan on attending medical school after my undergraduate degree and this award helped make this plan reachable, financially. Hopefully now, I’ll be able to work in rural Newfoundland as a family doctor after graduation”.

What this means to her:
“I plan to complete two degrees simultaneously: a Bachelor of Science (major in Chemistry) and a Bachelor of Arts (major in History). I am considering studying medicine in the future. This award has impacted me because it will allow me to focus more on my studies without having to worry about finances.”

“ My name is Gina Colbourne and I am a first year nursing student at Memorial University. I enjoy music, reading, and travelling.
