Changes to 2017-18 Research Funding Competition

Timelines for The Society’s research competitions have changed from previous years’ competition cycles. This shift better aligns with The Society’s fiscal year end and the Board’s review and approval for research and grants funding budgets. We believe that this shift will facilitate a seamless transition between planning and implementing our upcoming and future research funding competitions.

The Society provides funding for projects or programs that align with our research strategic themes.

Strategic Theme I: Improving our understanding of arthritis and finding the cure.

Strategic Theme II: Improving the care and management of arthritis.
