Minor in Psychology
The Minor in Psychology was revised effective Fall 2008. The following describes how to declare a Minor and what courses are required.
Declaring a Minor in Psychology
Students should complete the appropriate Declaration/Change of Academic Program Form, which is available at the Registrar's Office or as a PDF document. No signature from Psychology is needed.
Psychology 1000, 1001, and 2920 are required. Psychology 1000 and 1001 are offered every semester, and 2920 is offered every Fall and Winter.
Five additional courses (15 credit hours) from the list of Non-Restricted Courses.
Minors are eligible to take Psychology 2520 and 2930 if interested (space permitting).
There is no additional math requirement beyond that mandated by your Faculty (i.e., students in Arts must meet the Arts requirements; students in Science must meet the Science requirements).

Students who Minor in Psychology are required to complete a minimum of 24 credit hours of Psychology as follows:

Information About the Old Minor
As per University regulations, students who are minors prior to Fall 2008 can elect whether to follow the new regulations or the regulations in effect before Fall 2008.
Please note: Psychology 1000 and 1001 are prerequisites for all other courses required in the Minor.
