PROCEDURE FOR APPEAL OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST DECISIONS |
| Where a Member is not in agreement with a decision made by the University COI Committee or the Marine Institute Sub-Committee, he/she may appeal the Committee's decision in writing normally within 30 calendar days to the University President. In the written appeal, the appellant shall outline the grounds for his/her appeal, and submit any supporting documentation. The President may seek advice following a review of the appellant's submission. In addition, the President may meet with the Member where the President deems it appropriate. The President will render a decision, in writing, within 30 calendar days of receipt of the appeal. |
