Style
The University’s policy work made news this month in two
publications – an article appeared in the Gazette and on today.mun.ca as well as in the fall
edition of the Communicator. As
well, on October 2 there was an open presentation for the
University community giving an update on policy activity.
Consultations on-going
Two policy sets are in the consultation phase this month:
1. Travel policies as they relate to the recruitment of new
employees. Materials can be viewed on the Status of Policy
Development site and feedback can be directed to gpike@mun.ca or bgorman@mun.ca.
2. Donor prospect clearance. For further information, contact the
Office of Alumni Affairs and
Development at 737-4354. Feedback may be directed to pablackw@mun.ca.
Consultation closes for both of these on October 17, 2008.
