Progress Continues on Policy Database
The Policy Document conversion team has been great progress on conversion of existing policy documents to a new standard format for uploading in the University's Policy Database. At its recent meeting, the database users group attended for a demonstration of the system.
In late February the Senior Executive Committee of the University approved a number of guidelines regarding non-academic University policy, one of which states:
"The on-line version of the policy and procedures is the official version and there will be only one on-line version."
This principle has implications for all policy webpages throughout the University that have links to or lists of Memorial's non-academic policies and procedures. A meeting to discuss these changes is being held on Wednesday, March 26 at 3:30 in AA-2029.
The planned rollout for the policy database is mid-April.
